Yahoo! This off track time couldn't have come at a better time! Not to mention I am off for 4 weeks! I have the end of the Spring semester coming up at the end of April and 2 big 10-page papers due at that time. Have I even started on them? NOPE! So as you can imagine, that is what I will be doing with all my free time in the next 3 weeks! After that though, it is party time in Disneyland the first week of May! My Sister-in-Law, Kim, is kind enough to let me come with her and her 2 sisters (Thanks Kim!). It will be fun to get away!
I am also turning over a new leaf...I am trying to date more...so, I took a HUGE leap and signed up on LDS Singles.com. Yes, I know...it sounds desparate and I really didn't want to do it, but I did. :0 I signed up a week ago today and I have already been on a date! CRAZY! It is getting me talking to guys a LOT more so that is good. I have never been noticed so much in my life though! It is very entertaining too...especially to my family. They love to look at all the profiles and tell me who to send messages to. We will see how it goes!

My How Time Flies!
Wow, I didn't realize how long it had been since my last post! I guess not a lot has happened...still doing the same old school, work, etc...A new semester started up for me in January for my Master's program and boy has it been the work load! Let's just say a Children's Literature and Writing class in the same semester equal a LOT of reading and writing! I think I pretty much really have no life now, as most of my weekends and nights are devoted to HOMEWORK...BLAH! I guess I am learning while doing, but it certainly takes up way too much of my time! :)
I did manage to squeeze in a week of fun while I was off track the first week of February though...Sally, Candyce, Andrea, and I went to the island of Oahu in Hawaii! It was GORGEOUS! No rain at all, just nice and sunny and in the 80's the whole time! We stayed at a Marriot resort on the western part of the island called Ko Olina. It was a beautiful place, right on the beach and our balcony had a great view of it! We pretty much were beach bums the whole time...checking out all the beaches on the island, but we did go to Pearl Harbor, the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Hawaii Temple, surfing, and on a snorkeling tour. The pictures will tell all! Enjoy! :)
And here is one more adventure I had at home on Valentine's Day...yes, a date with Damon Salvatore of the Vampire Diaries show! :) My Mother bought this and put it in my room...he pretty much took my breath away when I came home after work! Hehehe...

Happy New Year!!
I can't believe it is a new year already! Where did 2010 go? It has been a while since I have posted anything, because so much has been going on! First of all, I finished my first semester of Master's classes. Yahoo!! It definitely kept me busy, between doing homework, and keeping up with teaching but I really have learned a lot to help me with my teaching.
The day after my going to my last class for the semester, I packed up and moved!! I only moved about 5 minutes away from home, but have come back many, many times already for Sunday dinner and what not...gotta have those homemade meals! :) It has been a great experience living and learning on my own. It helps to have great roommates and a nice, new, fun little place to live! As strange as it sounds, I am missing my old ward though...maybe it is just because I don't know anyone in my new one (besides my roommates)and need to be more outgoing than I am to enjoy to new one, but hopefully I will feel more comfortable soon!!
The holidays have been great! I have enjoyed the past week and a half off, spending time with family and friends and celebrating Christmas and New Years. Now it is time to get back into the teaching game tomorrow, but only for 3 more weeks before I get another break! Yes, another break! I love it! It is only 2 weeks off this time, but I am going with friends to Hawaii during the those 2 weeks! I am so stinking excited!! I have wanted to travel to Hawaii for so long now and I am finally going! :) Yehaw!
